From Concept to Commissioning: Single-Point Responsibility

Our comprehensive EPC approach provides clients with a seamless, end-to-end service, significantly reducing project complexity, risk, and timeline uncertainties.

EPC Overview: Delivering Turnkey Solutions

The Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model is a contractual arrangement where Thugo Construction is the single point of contact for the entire project lifecycle. We assume total responsibility for the design, material sourcing, execution, and final handover, providing our clients with a guaranteed project cost and delivery schedule.

This 'Turnkey' methodology is ideal for complex, large-scale projects such such as power generation facilities, chemical plants, and specialized infrastructure where risk mitigation and schedule adherence are paramount. [Image of EPC project lifecycle diagram]

1. Engineering & Design

The engineering phase forms the intellectual backbone of the project. Our dedicated team of civil, structural, electrical, and process engineers develops all required documentation, specifications, and designs.

  • Front-End Engineering Design (FEED): Detailed feasibility studies and cost estimates.
  • Detailed Engineering: Creation of construction drawings, structural analysis, and P&ID diagrams.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all designs meet local, national, and international standards.

2. Procurement & Logistics

Procurement involves the strategic sourcing and purchasing of all necessary equipment, materials, and services. We leverage our global network to ensure timely delivery and optimal quality at competitive costs.

  • Global Sourcing: Managing the supply chain for specialized equipment and bulk materials.
  • Quality Assurance (QA/QC): Inspection and testing of all materials before shipment.
  • Logistics Management: Handling customs, transport, and site delivery scheduling.

3. Construction & Execution

The construction phase brings the design to life. Utilizing expert project management and skilled labor, we manage all site activities, including civil works, structural erection, mechanical installation, and electrical integration.

  • Site Management & Safety: Implementing world-class safety protocols and site organization.
  • Civil & Structural Works: Foundation pouring, steel erection, and facility building.
  • Mechanical & Piping Installation: Erection of process equipment and complex piping systems.

4. Commissioning & Turnkey Delivery

Our responsibility extends beyond construction. We oversee testing and validation, ensuring all systems and subsystems operate correctly and meet performance guarantees before handing over the fully functional asset to the client.

  • Pre-Commissioning Checks: System leak tests, functional testing, and electrical checks.
  • Performance Testing: Conducting run-in periods to ensure the facility meets contractual specifications.
  • Final Handover: Providing complete documentation, as-built drawings, and personnel training.
